It took me three days to get everything back to the way things were. Those filthy little greasers thought it be funny to mess around Sheldon's Manor. I'm not gonna lie, it was a slight surprise to see they had the nerve to come to this part of town, so lost and alone from everything they knew how to do. Get drunk and high. What a waste of human space. I called some people who got into it right away and as they browsed through the things I found somehting on the floor. I picked it up and to my surprise it was a cellphone. Such a pity. Greasers don't even know how to clean up they footprints. Or maybe they just don't have the brains. I looked through the phone for a couple of minutes. I smiled. And just then little Tyler walked in.
It is embarrassing enough to call him "family" but to have to put up with him every minute of every day is just too much. "What do you want?" I asked. He noticed the phone in my hand. "Give it up, Bob. It ain't worth it." I chuckled. "Don't tell me about worth, Tyler, we all know I ain't the black sheep of the family." He looked down. "I mean, really. What do you gain from all of this? You don't fit in here, but you don't fit with them either. Socs don't like you and neither do the greasers. So exactly were do you belong?" "The greasers, as you call them Bob, have actually been very nice to me." "So I heard. Let me ask, does that Parker girl really fancy you? I mean does she put up well?" The look of anger in his face was all I needed to see. "So I thought." "Just give me the phone, Bob." He said as he leaned his hand toward me. "Right. Don't worry, Ty, your friends won't get that hurt, and if they do, who cares? Now go away." And I closed the door in front of him and turned my attention to the phone. I clicked redial and let it ring for a few seconds.
"Hello?" The voice on the other end was calm, oblivious to what I was about to do. "Hello, Jamie. Bob calling. I just wanted to let you know that you left your little phone here. But don't worry, nothing won't happen to it. But I fear I can't say the same for your little friends. You see, Jamie, whatever happens to them may never had happen had you Jamie not trashed my house in the first place. It's that simple. And the phone? Well, that was a bonus, and don't worry. I never let a good deed go unpunished. Goodbye." I would've loved to have seen the look on her face. I took out my phone and clicked on the number I had been looking for. One by one. That's how we'll go again. "Hey, it's Bob. Marcia, I need a favor to ask you."
The greasers wanted to play dirty, I played well.
